Going into Matchweek 29, Jones was listed at a 50% chance to play in Manchester United’s visit to The Hawthornes with a hip injury that caused him to miss the last 3 league matches. Jones ended up getting the start, playing the full 90 and converting his only chance for a goal on a beautiful set-piece delivery from Robin van Persie.
