Snaps Report Week 14
SNAPs Report Week 14 allows a focus on the team, positional, and player snaps, and snaps%. Use these metrics to find handcuffs, trade targets, DFS plays, lineups work, and player drops.
As usual, added and altered metrics using Snaps per Second, discussion of Time of Possession (TOP) vs. Rushing/Passing/Team Scoring, and other fun material as well.

Week 14 SNAPs Report. I focus from a top-down view starting with Team level Snaps Per Second. Then, I highlighted the highs/lows by colorization.
SNAPs/SEC is a metric that I suggest is superior as it includes the speed of snaps, and that rate is informative on team activity. Faster vs. Slower Teams must be considered in rushing metrics.
The top teams in Average Team SPS are LAR/DAL/SEA/MIN/SEA/PIT/CHI/HOU/NYJ -Green, while the bottom teams are GB/KC/LV/TEN/NYG/DEN/NE/ATL-Red through the first nine weeks.
My past analysis suggests slower SPS groups tend to have higher rushing. Good Tiebreaker for your RBs.

Team Scoring By Snap Levels Weeks 9 to 14 Metrics and Graphs
——————————————————————
SPS is a crucial metric, but I like to combine it with PPR Points per Snaps. How have teams converted their SPS speeds into PPR points for our teams? Key question! The following table and graph chart these Scoring Metrics over the last six weeks.
I focus on extremes, changes for improving or declining. The top scorer teams (GREEN) are TB/IND/LAC/LAR/SEA/BUF/NYJ/LV. Most of those teams are no surprises, but a few are. The lowest teams (RED) are CAR/CLE/SF/JAX/NYG/ATL/HOU/BAL. Great tiebreakers for lineups and DFS this week.

Team Level SPS vs Scoring By Snaps Weeks 9 to 14 Averages
——————————————————————
I use these team-level metrics to set up my player rankings. Low-scoring teams are not a healthy choice, especially for depth plays. You can not separate players from their teams etc. Strong players on improving high-scoring teams are excellent choices.
The table below has teams sorted by SPS (speed) first (Green to Red), then I note their scoring levels. Additionally, I look for extreme changes to modify my plays. Again it would help not take chances in the playoffs and win games.

Positional Analysis of Scoring By Snaps vs SPS
——————————————————————
I have drilled down into the team’s positional situation. Players should be looking for high-scoring levels as a tiebreaker and directional movement for my lineups.
I have produced a table (sorted by Scoring Levels – Green to Red Teams} as well as the following graph plotting these speeds and scoring by snaps. Again, trends and levels for a team’s position are exposed for consideration.
The graphs plot these metrics along with the upper/lower boundaries (pink dashed line) to annotate the extreme team positions very high or low.

Positional Level SPS/Scoring Metrics by Team and Position
I highlight the league-level positional highs vs. lows. Then, I use these metrics to “see” the relationships within teams.
——————————————————————
Questions:
- What positions are scoring the highest and lowest within each team?
- What are each position’s speed by snaps?
——————————————————————
I choose to move to the high-scoring positions and away from the lower-scoring positions. Seems common sense to me.
——————————————————————
The graphs plot these metrics to view the team’s positions. Allows your to scan for week 15 choices.

Player Level SPS Metrics by Team and Position
Each of these 32 tables charts each team’s SPS averages for players within their positions and teams. The clarity in the pecking order is helpful for injury and covid IRs.
Each Table Contains:
- Team
- Position
- Player
- W9 to 14 Player SPS-Green to Red
- Average Player SPS (Sorted within the Position) Blue to Red
