SNAPs Report Week 12.

SNAPs Report Week 12 allows a focus on the team, positional, and player snaps, and snaps%. Use these metrics to find handcuffs, trade targets, DFS plays, lineups work, and player drops.

As usual, added and altered metrics using snaps per second, discussion of Time of Possession (TOP) vs. Rushing/Passing/Team Scoring, and other fun material as well.

Week 7 to 12 Average Snaps Per Second (SPS)

Week 12 SNAPs Report. I focus from a top-down view starting with Team level Snaps Per Second. Then, I highlighted the highs/lows by colorization.

SNAPs/SEC is a metric that I suggest is superior as it includes the speed of snaps, and that rate is informative on team activity. Faster vs. Slower Teams must be considered in rushing metrics.

The top teams in Average Team SPS are LAR/DAL/SEA/MIN/JAX/PIT/CHI/PHI/NYJ -Green, while the bottom teams are LV/GB/NE/DET/YB/BAL/ARI/NYG/DEN/ATL/TEN-Red through the first nine weeks.

My past analysis suggests slower groups tend to higher rushing. Good Tiebreaker for your RBs.

TEAM SNAP BASED SCORING LEVEL (PPR) WEEKS 7 TO 12

SPS is a crucial metric, but I like to combine it with PPR Points per SPS. How have teams converted their SPS speeds into PPR points for our teams? Key question! The following table and graph chart these Scoring Metrics over the last six weeks.

I focus on extremes, changes for improving or declining. The top scorer teams (GREEN)are LV/LAC/TB/NE/NYJ/LAR/CIN/IND/BUF/DAL. Most of those teams are no surprises, but a few are. The lowest teams (RED) are TEN/WAS/PHI?SF/DEN/PIT/CHI/ATL/NYG/JAX/HOU/CAR/BAL. Great tiebreakers for lineups and DFS this week.

SNAPs Report Week 12 – TEAM SPS vs SCORING LEVELS

I present the combination for team-level SPS and Scoring. The table is sorted by team names with colorization for high to low in each metric. It does require focus to see the relationships.

I quickly took the highs and lows and used +10 or -10 to annotate the team’s types with red stars (2 low teams) vs. green stars (2 high teams). Move to the highs and away from the lows. Double positives are DAL/LAR/NYJ? While ATL/BAL/DEN/NYG/TEN are the low teams. The interesting teams are the NYJ high and BAL low?

I focus on changes and extremes, and relationships in the team and player positions. Like steady dominance and am concerned with declines. Additionally, one can see next-man-up players, etc.

Player SPS and Score Level by Position (RB, TE, or WR)

I place all players sorted by their last six weeks’ scoring levels and include their speed of play. Nice to have high-scoring players that are playing fast! Great list for week 13 decisions.
