Week 5 SNAPs Report
Week 5 SNAPs Report allows a focus on the team, positional, and player snaps, and snaps%. Use these metrics to find handcuffs, trade targets, DFS plays, lineups work, and player drops.
As usual, added and altered metrics using snaps per second, discussion of Time of Possession (TOP) vs. Rushing/Passing/Team Scoring, and other fun material as well.

Team Average of Team Snaps (TS) and Player Velocity Snaps per Sec (SPS).
- The table displays the following information for each team W1 to 5.
- Teams sorted by Snaps Per Second high (purple) to low (yellow)
- Player Averaged TS and highlighted green to red
- Scaled Player TS and SPS vs league averages

Week 5 SNAPs Report. Note that Player SPS metrics do differ from a team’s average snaps. Reasons can be a smaller number of players played, the pace of games is extreme in differences, and/or game scripts push velocity in different directions.
Teams High in SPS are colorized by Green vs Low SPS highlighted in Red. Dealing out more Snaps per Second can imply high levels of passing. Low SPS suggests those teams may be rushing more.

Team Scaled STS and SPS Compared Weeks 1 to 5
————————————————————————————————————-
The table above and graph below focus on 2 ways to consider snaps. First, we can observe TAS or SPS. I do not have a preference as I think both add to our coherence of the data. Second, I like visual graphs better than columns of numbers. (see classroom lesson – more information give us more accuracy?)
————————————————————————————————————-

Comment – I discuss this and my deeper analysis in my video lesson link above. However, I think the extremes are essential to note. Teams that are double negatives are of great concern to me. NO, NYJ, MIA, GB, CHI, and PIT are such examples. I am interested in the negatives as I have found these double negatives can lead to more dramatic results for the upcoming weeks.

Weekly SPS and Average SPS with Differences (Improving/Declining Teams)

————————————————————————————————————-
Key Visual Graph of Team SPS DIFFs vs Team SPS Rates.
————————————————————————————————————-
Bars mark each team’s DIFFs of W4/5 vs the first 3 Weeks. Blue Circles denote the Average Team SPS Rate. The pink lines mark the average areas of SPS. Above Teams are high extremes and below are low extremes. Consider the WHY!

Week 5 SNAPs Report. Positional Level SPS and Team Usages
Each Data Table Contains Team’s Weekly Positional SPS and Usages. I use these metrics to “see” what teams are doing with their players. Play to a team’s strength! Move to high usages and away from lower positional usages. I consider these metrics for waiver wires, trades, lineups, and DFS as well!
Team Tables:
- Positions
- Weeks 1 to 5 SPS
- Average SPS
- Week 4 and 5 SPS
- % Team Recent Usages.

Focus Team Positional Usages Recently and Scaled Usages (100 to 0, High to Low, and Green to Red)
–———————————————————————————————————
I included the actual numbers as well as a bar graph for a visual understanding. Patterns are clear and can be a present danger! Green Bars -RB, Blue Bars-TE, and Yellow Bars for WRs.

Week 5 SNAPs Report. Emphasis on the Visual of Team Positional Player Usages.
I use to compare within teams for biases to positions. Hard to play TEs on low usage teams etc. Excellent presentation to focus on extreme team usage aspects. I deep dig into team patterns of diagonal/u shapes etc., in my video lesson.

Each Data Block has:
-
Team
-
Position
-
Player
-
W1 to 5 SPS
-
Average SPS
-
Differences W4/5 vs 1,2 and 3
Critical- I highlighted the Top and Bottom (Green vs red) for each player’s SPS. You can quickly see if a player’s SPS is extremely high or low or just average. Nice scannable presentations
In My Video Lesson Audio (see link) I do player by player to help you understand my analysis.
