Teams on a bye this week: Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers
There are good options this week.
CLEVELAND BROWNS, 18% ROSTERED
The Browns have been just good enough in the past few weeks and yes some of it was aided by the weather. But now they get a chance to prove they are good enough as they meet the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles, in case you haven’t noticed, are spiraling downward. They will enter this game having loss to the New York Giants last week. The good news is that for this game at least, quarterback Carson Wentz, did not throw an interception. The bad news is that he was sacked three times, fumbled the ball twice and did not pass for a touchdown on 37 passing attempts.
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS, 43% ROSTERED
It has been pretty much fantasy speak this season that going up against the New York Jets is good money. Yes, the Jets are coming off a bye week, so maybe that’s some of the problems that has sputtered it’s 32nd ranked passing offense, or it’s 27th ranked team rushing yards per game, or even it’s 32nd ranked scoring offense (13.4 points per game). But it is unlikely. So it continues. Start the Chargers defense.
WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM, 30% ROSTERED
This week they will play the Cincinnati Bengals, and wonder rookie, Joe Burrow. While there is the chance the Bengals BOOM this week, his offensive line is still a sieve. Last week, Burrow was sacked four times, was on the receiving end of nine quarterback hits and had four more passes batted down.
Washington is no Pittsburgh, but rookie, Chase Young, is disruptive and can cause havoc. Also for an added bonus, Washington plays the Jacksonville Jaguars next week.
