NFL 2019 Week 8 The Good, the Bad, and the FUGLY

Can you believe the NFL 2019 season is half-way through? Yeah me neither. Luckily it is still producing all that is good, all that is bad, and sometimes to our consternation, a little bit of the fugly!

THE GOOD

Oh Nick Bosa, I almost forgot that you have a big brother also in the NFL. First there was the complete intimidation of Cleveland Browns’ quarterback Baker Mayfield, and the flag plant.

Now in week eight you get four tackles, three sacks, and one interception against a Carolina Panthers team that was coming into San Francisco hot! Well, so much for that. You are good.

The BAD

JJ Watt has torn his pectoral muscle and is out for the season. That’s bad. Bad for Watt. Bad for football. And bad for the Houston Texans.

The FUGLY

Most of the time fugly isn’t really good…most of the time! Today it is just what a spurned man needs…to get up and be fugly.

Hello Minkah Fitzpatrick. You remember him? First round draft choice, misused man, traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Monday night Fitzpatrick got to show a little Fitzmagic of his own (is that trademarked…if so it needs a new home).

Anyway, MF showed his ex just what they are missing. Minkah intercepted the Miami Dolphins quarterback not once, but twice. And it was fugly…in the good way.
