Week 9 Tight End Rankings

The Week 9 tight end rankings are here help you make tough decisions this week. Whether it is deciding which of your options to start with or who you should be looking to pick up this week to cover your byes and injuries. Our team will be here the rest of the year ranking the offensive positions, defensive positions, and team defense to try and help you win your fantasy football leagues.

Once again this week all of the top-10 are above 60% ownership. However, there are some interesting streaming options just outside the top-10

Ben Watson, NO vs. LAR (53%)

Watson was blanked out last week in the game in Minnesota. Unfortunately, the Saints passing game did not need to do much to win this game and Watson suffered for it. This week will be a lot different. The Saints are going to need to go toe-to-toe with the Rams this week and I expect Watson to be a big part of that.

Vance McDonald, PIT @ BAL (54%)

McDonald appears to have made himself the number one tight end in this offense. This week he is against a Ravens team who rank 13th worst against the tight end. The issue with McDonald is always that Jesse James may steal targets and there are a lot of mouths to feed in that offense.

Charles Clay, BUF vs. CHI (14%)

This is the budget option. The Bears have been decent against the tight end this season but the Bills need a receiver to step up. Clay has seen 16 targets in the last three games and I expect that trend to continue in this game no matter which quarterback is under center.
