The Week 8 defense rankings are here help you make tough decisions about who to stream this week. Defense streaming is now widely seen as the best way to utilize the DST spot on your roster. It certainly is not the only way to do it. However, it is perhaps the best way to consistently get a top-10 DST on your roster each week. The other option often involves spending a single-digit round pick on a defense. That is not something I am not willing to do outside of extremely deep leagues.
For this article I would look to pick defense streamers that are under 70% owned. All ownership is prior to waivers running Wednesday.
Our team will be here the rest of the year ranking the offensive positions, defensive positions, and team defense to try and help you win your fantasy football leagues.

Washington Redskins @ New York Giants (36%)
At this point it is difficult not to stream against the Giants. Ranking the Redskins fifth might be aggressive but the Giants have given up the eighth most fantasy points to opposing fantasy defense. The Redskins defense has been solid this year and against that offensive line should have a chance to top their average of two sacks per game. By doing that there is a good chance they also force Manning into some mistakes.
Indianapolis Colts @ Oakland Raiders (44%)
This is a really a Hail Mary against the Raiders. The team is now without a number one receiver and they were struggling before that. Derek Carr does not seem confident pushing the ball down the field and they lost Marhawn Lynch to injury. All in all the Raiders rank fifth in most fantasy points surrendered to defenses. This Colts defense should be on a high after crushing Buffalo in all aspect of the game last week.
San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals (15%)
This is a big risk given how poor the 49ers defense has been this year. By putting the 49ers high I am completely going against the Cardinals offense. They come into the game with a new play caller after Mike McCoy was sacked. It could reinvigorate them or it could be a car crash. I think the 49ers have the best day of their season and a monster night against this offense.
