I’ve updated (05JUN2016) my IDP Rookies overall as we’re dipping into OTA’s and rookie drafts afloat.

1 MYLES JACK JAC LB still singing the same tune, worth a late 1st-early 2nd
2 REGGIE RAGLAND BUF LB bout to make your mid-2nd round pick worth it, should lead BUF in tackles!
3 DARRON LEE NYJ LB going to be all over the field for NYJ, another LB worth your mid-2nd
4 JAYLON SMITH DAL LB if your league dont got a taxi squad, dont bother, unless you have huge rosters & can afford the stash & wait
5 JOSHUA PERRY SDC LB fine value in the 4th or 5th, this year’s Kwon!
6 KARL JOSEPH OAK DB would be delighted taking him in the 3rd, Woodson left alot of tackles on the field to be had
7 KEANU NEAL ATL DB could be interchangable with Karl, both 1a/1b
8 DEION JONES ATL LB will beat out Worrilow and/or find ways to get on field because that defense needs his quickness & athleticism
9 DEFOREST BUCKNER SF DE should see plenty of snaps/opportunity & will battle for most sacks amongst rookies
10 SU’A CRAVENS WAS DB/LB the movement he’s getting in WAS defense is intriguing, LB in DB value
11 JOEY BOSA SDC DE should rack up a bunch of tackles with a handful of sacks
12 SEAN DAVIS PIT DB insane value alert, I see him going in 5th or 6th round, sometimes undrafted – some early Michael Griffin type IDP Profile
13 NOAH SPENCE TBB DE my pick to lead the rookies in sacks (9), best pass rusher on that TBB line will be hard to keep off field
14 DARIAN THOMPSON NYG DB should have no problem winning FS job, Tashaun Gipson IDP Profile!
15 CHRIS JONES KCC DE could either be Wilkerson-like or Michael Johnson-like, im going for Wilkerson & he’ll give KCC a strong DL
16 ROBERT NKEMDICHE ARI DE prob landed on the right team to keep him focused, going to pile on tackles as he’s surrounded by many pass rushers
17 BJ GOODSON NYG LB future starting MLB for NYG, draft him in the 5th and wait a year (Keenan only a stop gap)
18 BLAKE MARTINEZ GBP LB will step in right away since GBP has zero depth at ILB & little talent there too
19 MILES KILLEBREW DET DB DET hybrid, going to be in rotation with Rafael & should take in Ihendigbo’s old role some
20 JALEN RAMSEY JAC DB if he ever moves to safety then we’ll be talking higher ranking
21 ANTONIO MORRISON IND LB future starting ILB for IND, could even sneak in some starts mid-season only Irvin/Jackson/Sio in front
22 LEONARD FLOYD CHI LB would be intriguing if he carved up an every down role right away
23 VONN BELL NOS DB NOS needs playmakers in the backend, Bell can provide that as Byrd is aging
24 JUSTIN SIMMONS DEN DB a year away from being IDP relevant but worth a 5th/6th round pick to stash
25 EMMANUEL OGBAH CLE LB having the LB tag hurts but CLE already envisions him as an every down player so that’s a good sign, what he does with it is next
26 SHAQ LAWSON BUF LB i expect Lawson to get DE tag in the near future
27 KENTRELL BROTHERS MIN LB another stash & wait – can grab him in the 6th round
28 SHELDON RANKINS NOS DT def a target late 2nd (2.11-2.14 range) in DT required leagues but there’s a chance he falls to you mid-3rd!
29 JONATHAN BULLARD CHI DE should eat up tackles in the run game
30 KEVIN DODD TEN LB spotty play whose strength is against the run
31 JATAVIS BROWN SDC LB possibly a hybrid for SDC, def keep eye on & you’d get him 6th – 8th rounds
32 MATT JUDON BAL DE i love Judon, has tremendous upside but at least a year away from doing anything. Once he develops he’s much better than those in front of him (Jernigan/Davis)
33 VERNON BUTLER CAR DT will prob play sparingly but insurance if Short doesnt return in ’17
34 KENNY CLARK GBP DT GBP desperately needs interior DL & Clark can definitely make life easier for Daniels – worth a 5th in DT required leagues
35 MACKENSIE ALEXANDER MIN DB would be the perfect replacement for Newman/Munnerlyn
36 TYLER MATAKEVICH PIT LB thinking he’s the Timmons successor
37 VERNON HARGREAVES TBB DB
38 NICK KWIATKOSKI CHI LB another worth a stash, going to be at least a year away though as he’s behind Trevathan, Freeman, Jones and Timu
39 BRONSON KAUFUSI BAL DE should find snaps earlier than Judon as BAL will find ways to get their pass rushers on the field (seems like BAL has alot to shuffle now)
40 SHILIQUE CALHOUN OAK LB will be crossing fingers he moves to DE to get the DE tag that’ll help his IDP value, pass rushing talent is there & could be insurance for Edwards if he doesnt recover right
41 JORDAN JENKINS NYJ LB coming around on Jenkins, has the chance to ball out for NYJ on the edge
42 TRAVIS FEENEY PIT LB versatility will help him get on the field, oozing upside for PIT that has been trying to find edge rusher answers ever since
43 KAMALEI CORRERA BAL LB
44 ELI APPLE NYG DB
45 JEREMY CASH CAR LB CAR stating he’ll be playing LB is a bummer, total value sunk but def a situation to keep eye on
46 CHARLES TAPPER DAL DE DAL being very thin at DE makes Tapper an even more intriguing pick in your 5th round
47 JOE SCHOBERT CLE LB will be moving to ILB, if he catches on quickly he’ll replace Demario
48 MALIEK COLLINS DAL DT injury sucks but def worth targeting in DT required leagues
49 JIHAD WARD OAK DE draft & stash
50 JARRAN REED SEA DT going to be a beast against the run & a force in the inside
51 CARL NASSIB CLE DE
52 SCOOBY WRIGHT CLE LB
53 A’SHAWN ROBINSON DET DT should be a fine 2-down player for DET, collapses pocket will make life easier for Ziggy/Taylor
54 JAVON HARGRAVE PIT DT rotational player for now that’ll sneak in a couple starts
55 KYLER FACKRELL GBP LB Peppers eventual replacement? needs to work on pass rushing first
56 TJ GREEN IND DB
57 JAYVON KEARSE MIN DB
58 ANDREW BILLINGS CIN DT
59 AUSTIN JOHNSON TEN DE tackle machine in college, should translate some to help Casey out
60 ARTIE BURNS PIT DB

    How do you score your defensive players? Our league padded the scoring to make defensive players a little more relevant.
