Daily Fantasy Basketball Notes 3/26

Wednesday night offers another full slate of exciting NBA action. Only one of the ten games have double digit spreads, and three of the ten games have totals of at least 210 points. Tonight’s card should be another night of close, competitive, and high scoring games. I love when I look at the NBA slate of games and see very few double digit spreads with a good amount of totals over 210 points. On nights like this, I know their is lot’s of fantasy points to go around and tons of value players on tonights card.

What I have been preaching for weeks is much more important on nights like tonight when your are expecting a lot of close high scoring games. Finding one or two value players can be the difference in winning or losing. In fact, I have three value players that dont cost more then $7,300. After using these three players you will still have $28,500 left for your remaining five players. With strategy like this, you are positioning yourself to have a very good good night. I have been sticking to my philosophy for weeks now: a more well balanced lineup will give you the best chance in cashing on a consistent basis, rather then trying to stack your team with one or two high priced studs.

Lets keep the party going tonight, and stuff our pockets with my favorite vitamin. I do believe no one will be upset with lining their pockets with a lot of extra vitamin C, AKA cash. So tonight play these three studs at value prices and expect your pockets to be full of extra green. All prices listed are according to Draft Kings $50,000 salary daily league.

Players To Start:

Eric Bledsoe – $7,300 –  Eric has been on a major roll since coming back from his injury. Over last three games, he has been filling the stat sheet averaging 22 PPG, 5 RPG, 5 APG, and 2 SPG. His price is still dirt cheap, as his production has been one of the best at his position. Don’t expect to enjoy this price for much longer, so take advantage of him while you can. Santa would say ho ho merry xmas, Andy says ho ho ho, play Eric BledSOE.

Dion Waiters – $7,100 – Dion has really become a stud since Irving went down. People that have been using him in DFS has really been rewarded lately. Over last three games, he is averaging 26 PPG, 4 RPG, 5 APG, and 1 SPG. Furthermore,  his coach wants to see him even more aggressive and score more. Now he gets a very weak Detroit team that can’t even spell defense, let alone play defense. I can see Dion putting up 40 plus fantasy points tonight and 50 is not out of the question. Waiters will not have you waiting to cash tonight.

Andre Drummond – $7,100 – Andre’s value dropped a lot due to injury and poor play recently. However, once Andre came back from injury, he has been playing like a man on a mission. Over last three games he has been a double double machine as well as a rebounding machine averaging 16 PPG, 14 PPG, and 1 SPG. With his price so low and his production so high, playing Andre tonight is like hitting the game winning home run in the bottom of the ninth inning. He is truly the new Andre ” The Giant”.  If you play Andre Drummond tonight, your band will be beating the “Drummond”  to the tune of lot’s of vitamin C.

Players To Sit:

George Hill – $5,200 –  George has to be one of the worst starting PG in basketball. If the Pacers ever expect to win a title, they must upgrade big time. Over last seven games George has been averaging a pathetic 9 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 4.5 APG, and 1 SPG. George is playing more like he is over the Hill. With the combination of playing a very tough Miami team and Hill’s pathetic play, keep Hill on your bench. Hopefully the Pacers will be saying bye bye George, you are the weakest link very soon.

Chris Bosh – $6,500 – Chris has had an up and down season. If you don’t catch him on the right night, he burns you a lot more then he helps you. His price continues to go down, as his play for the most part has been sinking as well. Over last four games he is averaging 11 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 1 APG, and 1 BPG. Now he plays a very tough team the Pacers on the road. The combination of his poor play lately and the tough match up makes Chris a must sit tonight.

Shawn Livingston – $4,300 – Shawn was playing pretty well until the last week. Now his numbers are starting to sink as well as his fantasy points per night. Over last three games he us averaging 8.5 PPG, 6 RPG, 3 APG and 1 SPG. He is having a tough time getting you over 20 fantasy points a game lately.  Although his price is great, his production is not. Don’t be fooled by his price, stay away. His price is not right. Let Shawn collect splinters on your bench tonight.
