Fantasy Football: Streaming Defenses Week 11

It is a fantasy football dilemma, to stream or not to stream.  There are a few defenses that may be on your streaming radar because of the match-ups, and there is nothing wrong with that.

It is getting crunch time, and every point counts!

MIAMI DOLPHINS, 25% ROSTERED @ NEW YORK JETS

It feels like the Dolphins are becoming the defense that we thought they were.  They have nine sacks in the last two games, and they just held the Baltimore Ravens offense to 10 points.

This week, they get the New York Jets and not trying to pile it on, but the Jets are on their second or maybe third quarterback.   Last week, Mike White was sacked four times by the Buffalo Bills defense, and well, they just aren’t very good right now.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS, 24% ROSTERED vs. PITTSBURGH STEELERS

The Steelers’ offense has not been that prolific.  Now they are dealing with once again the prospect of Mason Rudolph starting Week 11.

It is not like the Steelers were setting the world on fire before Ben Roethlisberger was sidelined with Covid.  They rank 26th in points per game (19.7), 20th in red zone scoring percentage (58.33%), and Roethlisberger had been sacked 18 times, with four interceptions and five fumbles.

There are better odds for defensive scoring if Rudolph is in, but it doesn’t look bad if Roethlisberger comes back.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES, 11% ROSTERED vs. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Trevor Siemian has been sacked six times in the last three weeks, with four sacks coming last week.

Siemian is efficient.  And the Eagles’ defense isn’t lighting up the fantasy stats.  But if the Saints continue to put Siemian under center instead of Taysom Hill, there is always the opportunity for sacks and interceptions.
