Fantasy Football 2021: Week 9 Late IDP Plays

Unlike the defensive side of the streaming game in fantasy football this week, there are plenty of IDP men who you can safely stream.

Projected points from fantasypros.com

LINEBACKERS

Damien Wilson, Jacksonville Jaguars, 4% Rostered vs. Buffalo Bills

If your league is tackle-heavy in scoring, pick up Wilson and play.  He has 6, 12, and 7 tackles in his last 3 games.

With the continual ineptness of the Jacksonville Jaguars offense, he will have ample time to add to his tackle total.

Fantasypros.com projected fantasy points: 11.3

Germaine Pratt, Cincinnati Bengals, 3% Rostered vs. Cleveland Browns

Pratt made ESPN’s top 50 linebackers for Week 9.  His season totals for the season are 27 tackles, one forced fumble, and one interception.

Never underestimate divisional rivalries.

DEFENSIVE LINE

Randy Gregory, Dallas Cowboys, 4% Rostered vs. Denver Broncos

Why is everyone sleeping on Gregory? Rostered in only 4% of IDP leagues is ridiculous.  Gregory has five sacks, two forced fumbles, and six solo tackles for the season.

Now he will go against a Broncos’ offense, attempting to cure its lack of offensive firepower and play without left tackle Garett Bolles.

Markus Golden, Arizona Cardinals, 13% Rostered @ San Francisco Niners

Golden is tied for first in forced fumbles (4), tied for 10th in sacks (6), and has recorded 15 solo tackles.

Fantasypros.com projected fantasy points 8.4

MonkeyKnifeFight.com has a Sack Attack” challenge for the game.  Pick the three players who will have the most sacks for a Prize 1.5x or 1.8x or 2x.  Your choice.

SECONDARY

Justin Simmons, Denver Broncos, Safety 16% Rostered vs. Dallas Cowboys

We know that the Broncos’ pass rush will be a little less formidable, putting more pressure on the secondary.

Simmons has stepped up so far this season.  Ranked ESPN 17th best defensive back Week 9, Simmons has three interceptions, six passes defended, and 29 solo tackles.
