Listen to My Video Lesson**. See Below

**Note this video lesson is a serious time commitment, and most will not wish to get that deep. It’s ok, but if you seek the process, time and effort are required of you! Chop the wood, then get the fire vs. get the fire, and maybe you will chop the wood later :). It’s called “around-to-it.” What do the winners do? More bad news, getting very deep requires a lot of time? (years?).

Team Level Targets and Targeting Rates Scaled to League Averages

Teams were sorted by their average targets from weeks 1 to 6. The highest target average teams are LAR/MIN/TB/ATL/DET/DAL/PIT/LAC color green. The lowest teams are NO/CLE/HOU/TEN/IND/SEA/CIN/NYJ. Note the rate of targeting did not necessarily follow the numbers of team targets.

Ratio of Team Targets vs Targeting Rates

This metric captures a more dynamic Team level activity than either date stream separately. A high ratio suggests a more robust team in passing vs. a lower ratio. I used to deep dive into the pass-catchers on those teams. As a result, more value can be seen down the player pecking order.

Weekly Variation within Team Targeting Rates with Differences

I present each team’s targeting rates (based on a 100 to 0 scale, high to low, and green to red). Additionality, I calculated the differences from the last 3 weeks vs. the first 3 weeks (purple to yellow). The table was sorted from high improving? teams with positive improvements in targeting rates to declining teams.

RB/TE/WR Team Usages as Calculated By Targeting Rates

——————————-

The following figures show the positional usages by team sorted high to low. These metrics were graphed, and the resulting image displayed the league team usages (blue line) and the team’s recent differences in these rates. The extremely high team differences were colorized by green circles, while red circles showed the shallow team differences (declines); orange circles and green dashes are the average differences. Extremes are more interesting for considerations in week 7.

Player Targeting Rates Weeks 1 to 6 With Differences

Intensive metrics for each team’s players within their team and positions. I focus on extremes, new players to the scene, declines or improvements, and over or under usages. These data reveal changes for use in week seven decisions.
