It is Week One of the fantasy season and if you decided to wait and stream your defense it might be a good thing. Remember in fantasy football it is okay to prey on the weak.
DEFENSES TO STREAM
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS V JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
The Colts are 7.5 point favorite against a team that seems to be playing a way different game. Their running game is without their number one running back and while Gardner Minshew showed flashes of being good, he is still a second year quarterback, playing behind the 26th (according to Pro Football Focus) ranked offensive line, with no reliable run game.
Did I mention the Colts added 7.5 sacks on the back of defensive tackle DeForest Buckner?

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS V CINCINNATI BENGALS
The Chargers shouldn’t be a defense available, even with the loss of Derwin James. But if they are, run don’t walk to pick them up.
Just remember this, rookie quarterback Pro Football Focus’ 30th ranked offensive live versus Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram. DONE.
LAS VEGAS RAIDERS V CAROLINA PANTHERS
So this is that what if…portion of the conversation. The Raiders defense was bad last season. This year they added Corey Littleton, Nick Kwiatkoski and Maliek Collins, and they are better. For their first game, they will go against new head coach, new offensive coordinator, new quarterback and Christian McCaffrey.
The Raiders were sixth against the run last season, allowing an average of 98.1 rushing yards per game and almost one rushing touchdown per game. I love Teddy Bridgewater but it is his first game in a new offense on a shortened preseason. McCaffrey is a stud and will get his. But the Raiders will dial up some defensive points in the meantime.
