- C.J. Mosley has missed his last three games with a groin injury that he suffered in Week One. Monitor his practice participation throughout the week. If Mosley were to be out again, it would mean an increase in opportunities for Neville Hewitt and another start for rookie Blake Cashman.
- Devin White was active this past week against the New Orleans Saints, but didn’t get on the field. White is not ranked this week, as it seems the Buccaneers are going to take it slow with their prized rookie while he tries to get back to full health from his knee sprain.
- The Indianapolis Colts are on a bye this week, but it is notable that their star linebacker, Darius Leonard, has cleared the league’s concussion protocol. After missing the last three games, Leonard will look to get after it in Week Seven against the Houston Texans.
- Ravens linebacker, Patrick Onwuasor, reportedly tweaked his ankle in last week’s game. The injury doesn’t sound serious, but his practice participation should be monitored during the week.
- One situation I’m avoiding right now is the Los Angeles Chargers linebacker unit. Thomas Davis has been nursing a groin injury and saw only 40 of 61 snaps, Kyzir White saw 34, Denzel Perryman saw 32, and rookie Drue Tranquill even played 20 snaps this past week………it’s a mess.
