The season is off an running after an action packed Week 1. Week 2 fantasy football rankings is my attempt on applying things we learned in Week 1 without going to far.
Among the biggest risers this week is Lamar Jackson who was incredible against Miami. Now, it was a Dolphins team that players wanting out after one week. The match-up is great and at home so I’m on board but some bad weeks will be coming for a QB learning on the field.

I’m really paying attention to Denver, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and the Rams this week. Their backfields looked like full blown committees in Week 1. As someone heavily invested in Miles Sanders and Phillip Lindsay, I’m genuinely curious to see if that should be the expectation all season or if someone emerges as the lead back.
As for pass catchers, Sammy Watkins and Darren Waller are the biggest leapers in the rankings. Without Tyreek Hill, Watkins should be in WR1 conversation. As for Waller, he can challenge for Top 5 at the position with his combination, role and expected volume.
As always, these rankings will adjust throughout the week. Joe Mixon, Juju Smith-Schuster and others are dealing with injuries that will affect where they end up this week. Check back or follow me on Twitter to get the latest!
