Chris Thompson, WAS vs NYG
Before getting hurt earlier in the season, Thompson was looking great as a hybrid back for the Redskins. He returned from his injury in last week’s loss to the Eagles. His presence should be a welcomed sight for new starting quarterback, Mark Sanchez, moving forward.

It has been widely reported how scaled down the playbook was for Monday night. With Sanchez coming aboard just last month, this will likely remain the case moving forward. I think it could bode well for Thompson’s receiving stats.
The combination of learning on the fly, and playing from behind in second halves, points straight to Sanchez check downs. When healthy, Thompson is still very explosive. His ranking is more a reflection of the ceiling on the Redskins offense.
Jaylen Samuels, PIT at OAK
Speaking of receiving stats, look no further than the hottest pickup of the week. At N.C. State, Samuels made a living operating as a hybrid back, racking huge receiving numbers in the process.
Being a Lions fan, I know stupid franchises when I see one. The Steelers are not one of them.
They knew what they were getting when they took Samuels in the fifth round in April. He’s already shown his pass catching ability in limited opportunities. I fully expect Big Ben to have Samuels line up all over the place Sunday. Start him with confidence.
Good luck for Week 14! Follow me on twitter @realBobbyAdcock compliments and insults are greatly appreciated.
