The Week 9 defense rankings are here help you make tough decisions about who to stream this week. Defense streaming is now widely seen as the best way to utilize the DST spot on your roster. It certainly is not the only way to do it. However, it is perhaps the best way to consistently get a top-10 DST on your roster each week. The other option often involves spending a single-digit round pick on a defense. That is not something I am not willing to do outside of extremely deep leagues.
For this article I would look to pick defense streamers that are under 70% owned.
Our team will be here the rest of the year ranking the offensive positions, defensive positions, and team defense to try and help you win your fantasy football leagues.

Buffalo Bills vs. Chicago Bears (4%)
I really liked the Bill defense did to Tom Brady and the Patriots Monday night. Now they get to face Mitchell Trubisky and this Bear offense. The Bears offense is by far not one of the worst in the league, but going into Buffalo is never easy. The Bills have had three double-digit weeks this season and Week 9 has the potential to be the fourth.
Dallas Cowboys vs. Tennessee Titans (57%)
The Tennessee Titans offense has been a mess for big parts of this season. At home the Cowboys should be able to limit what this offense can do and put pressure on Marcus Mariota. The Cowboys strength is in their defensive line and coming off the bye their defense should be at full strength. The Cowboys should be able to force turnovers in what should be a low scoring game.
San Francisco 49ers vs. Oakland Raiders (24%)
The 49ers are coming off their best defensive performance of the season and now they face another bad offense. The 49ers should be able to get pressure on Derek Carr and force mistakes. I struggle to see the Raiders scoring much over 20 points against the 49ers and the defense should be able to force some turnovers as well.
Tennessee Titans @ Dallas Cowboys (10%)
The Titans defense has struggled recently but coming off the bye I expect a strong performance. The Cowboys offense is not that explosive and the passing game is not that strong. That should suit the strengths of this Titans defense. My only concern is the number of turnovers the Titans could produce. That limits there upside a little for me.
