League “Snap-Shot” Team Rushing ATTs vs Passing ATTs
I present the current rushing attempts per game for each team! The data shown in the Table presents a data normalized view of the rushing vs passing attempts per game from each team!
Given the league’s emphasis on passing, the data was sorted by high to low of the league teams passing levels.
Team’s Normalized Rushing vs Passing Ranking
The averages for run vs pass attempts were calculated. These average numbers were subtracted to give a landscape view of each teams relative R to P attempts (SKEW) and are shown. The Ratios of Pass to Run are also determined and graphed!
Rushing vs Passing Attempts Scaled to the Average of the league with Team Skew to Passing
Graphical Presentation of Tabular Data!

I present the area graphs of the data sets. I am a visual learner and I think this way of “seeing” the league is the best way for my readers. PPR leagues will need more players from the Passing Teams and Non_PPR leagues use players for the Rushing Team! Can also be used to illustrate which teams are balanced vs shew!

Can also be used to illustrate which teams are balanced vs skewed! See most of the league as balanced! BAL and GB as skewed to passing while MIN and NO (Wow) more run skewed! Go over all the data to watch for changes and opportunities!
NOTE- Attempts do not imply fantasy points necessarily! They are an indication but a team must have the players to carry through for success!
Graph of Team Passing Skew Data
This graph shows the run shewed teams (left) vs Pass happy (right). I used a ratio method to compare teams and it reveals a different view vs the raw graph above! A team in the middle is very balanced FYI!
How concentrated are the rushing attempts per team?.
The data in Figures 4 and 5 highlights these player counts. Teams with a concentration of rushing if an injury can see an instant RB by Committee form! Gurley on the LAR for example!
Teams that have a high concentration of rushing on one player. If an injury occurs we can see an instant RB by Committee form!
DAL and LAR are very one RB centered!
Teams with a spread out RB crew can deal with injury much better (NE, KC, and ARI)!
Figure 4. The Number of Players on a Team that Received a Rushing Attempt
Figure 5. Area Graph of the Number of Players on a Team that Received a Rushing Attempt
Shows the DAL and LAR vs NE differences very clearly!
Rushing Attempts Per Minute Weekly by Team and Players
The following gives you a color-coded numbers of rushing attempts per minute by a player’s week. Use this data for DFS and Drop/Adds this week!
Average of League Scaled Rushing Attempts per Minute of Offensive Play.
The speeds of teams do vary and simple attempts per game stat may not reflect a truth needed to understand a team’s rushing game! I have given an ATT/MIN metric here!
The next series of the tables gives color-coded Scaled ATT/Min for rushing and the 7-week average!
See the NYG situation vs ATL, DAL or LAR! Very different in speed and effects of shared backfields!
