- Good vision
- Traditional build NFL teams covet in their starting RB
- He is an effort player
- Efficient
Concerns
- Can frustrating from a fantasy standpoint if he doesn’t become a more complete back
- He seems like a week-to-week boom or bust player.
- Seems get tackled instead of mowing over defenders
Dennis Digs Deeper:
His skills might not jump off the tape at you, but he is very good in almost all categories. He has the overall skill set to be an NFL starter. He was highly productive behind a mediocre line. May be an unsung hero of this RB class by the time all is said and done.
Kyle’s Instant Evaluation
David Cobb is one of my favorite backs that nobody is talking about. He suffered an injury while doing his 40 yard dash at the combine and derailed any momentum he could garner. He is quicker than fast guy that may not explode off the tape but will a productive runner at the next level.
