Welcome to Fantasy Baseball Streamers Week 3. This week features some names worth considering not only for this week but as a possible fixture on your roster going forward. If you followed my advice a week ago, your roster now features Shane Greene or Archie Bradley, potentially both. They have gone from under 20% owned to over 60% for Bradley and almost 100% owned for Greene. Anthony DeSclafani and A.J. Burnett are two pitchers who could see their ownership take a major jump after Week 3.
Alfredo Simon – Detroit Tigers
(Monday vs New York Yankees)
Alfredo Simon has been solid to start this season. He is 2-0, both victories coming in road games. While more than a handful of strikeouts shouldn’t be expected, the potential to garner 5 or so against this Yankee lineup is not too much to ask for. He should have a low ERA and WHIP, while having a very good chance for the win.

Anthony DeSclafani – Cincinnati Reds
(Monday vs Milwaukee Brewers)
Anthony DeSclafani is one of the major pieces acquired in this winters Mat Latos trade. He has been fantastic this season. He has only allowed two earned runs in his two starts. His ERA is under 2 this season with a WHIP under 1. He also has 11 strikeouts in those two outings. Facing a Brewers team that has struggled and will be without Carlos Gomez, who is currently on the DL, DeSclafani should have a potential to have a fantastic outing.
Dan Haren – Miami Marlins
(Tuesday at Philadelphia Phillies)
While Dan Haren may not be the sexiest name, he has pitched well thus far this season. He has put up 7 strikeouts and allowed 3 earned runs in his two outings. He has an excellent opportunity against the Philadelphia Phillies to have a strong outing. He should avoid many walks and very few earned runs. He can take advantage of the free swinging Phillies and garner a handful of strikeouts. Id avoid Haren if you have starts limits, but if not fire away.
Jeff Locke – Pittsburgh Pirates
(Thursday vs Chicago Cubs)
Jeff Locke is another pitcher who was started off the 2015 season with a strong effort. He is 2-0 with an ERA under 2 and a WHIP under 1 thus far. He has 8 strikeouts in those two outings. With the Chicago Cubs coming into Pittsburgh, Locke has a chance to put up another strong effort. He has a high strikeout potential with the lack of plate discipline the Cubs possess.
A.J. Burnett – Pittsburgh Pirates
(Saturday at Arizona Diamondbacks)

A.J. Burnett returns to Pittsburgh and picks up right where he left off two season ago. He has been tremendous this season, including against the Detroit Tigers. While he has allowed 3 earned runs this season, his strikeout total has been tremendous. He tallied eight against the Tigers and seven the previous start against Cincinnati. While the start in Arizona may be intimidating with the way runs can be put up in that park, Burnett should keep the ball down, limit runs, stack up the strikeouts and likely come out with a win.
