The Rangers have strengthened their attack with the signing of Vargas on a season long loan from Napoli. The highly rated Chilean striker will bolster a shallow position within the club, where manager Harry Redknapp previously only had three strikers to select from. Vargas had spent the second half of last season on-loan at Valencia where he picked up five goals in 25 appearances.
