Needing a win to move back into 4th place in the table, Arsenal defeated West Ham United at The Emirates on Tuesday 3-1. The Hammers got out to a good start, silencing the home crowd for most of the first half and even taking the lead with a goal from Matthew Jarvis in the 40th minute. But, Podolski turned the tides only 4 minutes later by equalizing. Olivier Giroud put the Gunners ahead for good only 10 minutes into the second half and Podolski secured a brace and the much needed 3 points in the 78th minute enroute to 13 fantasy points.
