Daily Fantasy Basketball Notes 2/6

After a whirlwind Wednesday night, it’s time to sit back and take tonight off…..NOT!! Only two games on the schedule this evening, but that’s enough to satisfy your daily DFS craving. Neither game is expected to be an offensive show, with both totals under 200. On to some selections:

(Note- my salaries come from draft street)

Steph Curry, GS vs CHI ($19,096)- The highest priced and most obvious play of the night.  Chicago is known as one of top defensive squads, but G’s have been decent against them of late.  On such a small schedule, you almost have to have Steph in your lineup.

Joakim Noah, CHI @ GS ($15,190)- Another pretty obvious call, as Noah has been one of the best daily plays over the last 6 weeks or so.  Save for his ejection game three nights ago, he hasn’t been below 30 DS points since December 30th.

David Lee, GS vs CHI ($13,957)- Lee missed a game last Friday with a shoulder injury and struggled in his return Tuesday with just 8 points and 3 rebounds.  The problem with tonight is that the forward position is so limited ( I think Duncan sits tonight) that you almost have to take a shot with D-Lee.  His price has dropped a bit to ease the pain of taking him.

Andrew Bogut, GS vs CHI ($14,773)- Another of the high priced guys tonight and a 3rd Warrior which I don’t love, but this game, which should have a bit of a slower pace to it, suits Bogut’s style.  He’s averaged close to 16 boards per over his last four games, with 9 blocks.

Cheapskates:  As usual, I like to toss in a few cheaper, “value” guys to help offset the cost of my higher priced selections.

Danny Green, SA @ BKN ($7,305)- Green returned to the Spur lineup Monday after missing 3 weeks.  He played 30 minutes in that contest and 46 last night in a double OT win.  He had been one of the most frustrating players to own and use in daily’s this season, but with all the Spur injuries, he should get plenty of minutes again tonight.  A notoriously streaky shooter, Green can fill it up and fill the peripherals nicely with steals and blocks as well.

Patty Mills, SA @ BKN ($7,163)- Everyone’s favorite St Mary’s Gael ( sorry, Matthew Dellavedova), Mills should see an uptick in minutes tonight with Tony Parker sidelined. He probably won’t start but didn’t start last time Parker sat but still put up a 20/2/7 line with 3 steals.  He should see heavy ownership this evening.

Tiago Splitter ($9,898) and Boris Diaw ($9,732), SA @ BKN- Hate to stick with the Spurs theme here, but with no Kawhi Leonard and most likely no Timmy D tonight, somebody is going to have to grab some rebounds for SA.  You can never really trust what Coach Pop is going to do, but for their prices, either guy can be a solid play depending on what position you need to fill.

Fantasy just got a whole lot better thanks to Monkey Knife Fight. With fast-paced games like Rapid Fire and Either/Or, it’s never been easier to play fantasy and win. New to MKF? Get Exclusive $100 Deposit Match + Free $5 Game

I know I listed zero Nets tonight with only 4 teams playing.  With Joe Johnson, Andray Blatche and Andrei Kirilenko all looking like they are a go tonight, it makes it tough to really analyze which Net player will have the biggest impact, especially with Shaun Livingston’s price zooming to $12,396.

Good luck tonight.
