It is about that time in the NFL 2019 season. Hopefully you are still in the hunt for the playoffs in your league. Even if you aren’t there is that satisfaction of being the spoiler for “that guy”. So here are some IDP streamers to help you attain your goal in week 12.
Linebacker, Najae Goode, Jacksonville Jaguars v Tennessee Titans
Myles Jack has had you on the fantasy football rollercoaster while playing 100% of the defensive snaps. In week nine Goode played 87% of the defensive snaps. Last week he played 96% of the defensive snaps. That increase led to five total tackles for Goode. This week the Jaguars will go against the Titans and Derrick Henry. Henry is on the field for 71% of the offensive snaps. That should equal plenty of tackling opportunities for Goode.
Defensive Line, Vic Beasley, Atlanta Falcons v Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Many had given up on the Atlanta Falcons and Beasley, and for good reason. Before their bye week in their first eight games the defense had seven totals sacks. Then came the bye week. In the last two games following the bye week they have had 11 sacks in two games.
Beasley is doing his part. He has at least one sack in each of the two games. His totals include six total tackles, 2.5 sacks, and three quarterback hits. Now he will go up against Jameis Winston and the Buccaneers. Winston has been sacked 36 times with eight fumbles. It looks like Beasley’s sack streak will continue.
Defensive Back, Juston Burris, Cleveland Browns v Miami Dolphins
Morgan Burnett is out for the remainder of the season with an injury to his Achilles. Burris is the next man up. Last week he was on the field for 57% of the defensive snaps. He finished with five total tackles, a sack, an interception, and a forced fumble.
This week the Browns will play the Dolphins. While the Dolphins have improved, they are still susceptible to giving opposing defenses fantasy points. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been careful with the ball only tossing in eight interceptions but he has been sacked 24 times including seven sacks last week. This week the Dolphins are a 10.5-point underdog, which suggests Fitzpatrick will be airing the ball out. That just means more opportunity for Burris to solidify his role.
