The NBA DFS Playbook season continues tonight Wednesday, February 24, 2016. A 10-game slate is upon us tonight as some premier superstars take the court. On a night where there are a large number of options, my best advice is tonight would be to hit on your mid range priced players. Target players opposing the Sixers and Lakers. Best of luck tonight guys, lets go out and win.
**These prices/values come from DraftKings.com. However, all players mentioned are recommended picks regardless of DFS gaming platform.
Play of the Night: Mike Conley ($6,900)

When the Grizzlies lost Marc Gasol for the season, they were forced to get offensive production from somewhere. Conley has been that guy. Aside from his last game against a strong defensive Raptors team, Conley has been consistently hitting and exceeding value. His usage rate is up as well as his minutes. Combine all of this with a matchup at home against the Los Angeles Lakers and you have yourself a steal of a play. At under 7,000 it is hard to imagine not finding a way to squeeze him into your lineup tonight.
Reggie Jackson ($6,700) – Why wouldn’t you take advantage of this juicy matchup for Reggie? Well, for one his ownership will be very high in cash games. A lot of players will flock towards him and other Pistons, and for good reason. He is just so wildly inconsistent, which has lead to his decrease in price. All signs point towards a solid game despite the question marks.
George Hill ($5,500) – The theme of attacking NYK point guards are becoming a theme. Hill is averaging 35 minutes a game. Thats huge for a player priced in the mid tier. His numbers can be inconsistent however. You’re honestly only using him tonight in GPP contests. He will have low ownership with a ton of options at PG tonight, so that will play to your advantage.
Russell Westbrook ($11,000) – For the record, I always have a difficult time getting players that are priced this high into my lineup. You could honestly save 2500 of salary and go grab Kyle Lowry in a solid matchup and get similar results. However, that 2500 you are spending is for pure upside. Westbrook is the only player on this slate I would bet would triple double tonight other than Draymond Green. A Russell Westbrook triple double usually consists of a lot more points too. Take your gamble and hope for 60 fantasy points, but beware of the value you must find to compensate fitting him into your lineup.
Bradley Beal ($6,400) – I like Beal tonight mainly because of his past history with Chicago. He always seems to give it his all and rise to the occasion. With no Jimmy Butler to guard him, I would like to see Beal hit a ton of mid-range jumpers and get to the basket with ease. His price is not off the charts, but it may be high enough to scare away his projected ownership. GPP play only.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope ($5,100) – Honestly you may see the entire Pistons starting five rostered tonight. There are just too many solid priced players at every position against Philadelphia. With Stanley Johnson sidelined for a while, KCP will not have to battle for minutes. He will comfortably play 35+ in this game, and should easily amass 25 fpts. His ceiling is only limited because of his talented teammates and their shot attempts in this great matchup.
Tobias Harris ($6,000) – If you planned on stacking the 76ers/Pistons game tonight, you will want Tobias Harris at SF. He has quickly become comfortable with his new Detroit teammates, and has upside off the charts in this matchup.
Otto Porter ($5,400) – Lost in the shuffle of Markieff Morris joining the Wizards, was the huge bonus of Otto Porter getting to play his natural position of small forward. He has played a lot of PF with Jared Dudley this season, and it really effects his play. I would recommend him for GPP’s tonight only. While Jimmy Butler is injured, McDermott is really the main beneficiary of the minutes along with Dunleavy. Both are not the greatest defenders in the league, so Porter should have a solid shot at getting to the hoop.
Zach Randolph ($6,900) – Z-Bo! As mentioned earlier, with the Grizz losing Gasol for the season they need added offense from elsewhere. Randolph is playing Center for the team, but still has eligibility on all major sites at PF. Use this to your advantage. I love the Lakers, but I have to pick on them often when it comes to DFS. There will be plenty of missed shots to go around, so the rebounds will be there. A respectable 20 and 10 game is really all you need from Zach tonight to hit value.
Kevin Love ($7,400) – Love has been incredible since the Cavs fired David Blatt. I’m not really sure what has changed other than the uptempo style Cleveland is now playing. Love is just simply not hesitating as much and is knocking down more shots. Sometimes it is as simple as putting the ball through the hoop. For DFS users on DraftKings, Love has been nothing but the flame emoji. Continue to fit him in your lineups and prosper.
Andre Drummond ($8,000) – Great price. Great matchup. At home. Blowout factor low. Drummond stands out like a sore thumb on this slate. He is the ultimate cash play game tonight, and for great reason. In his last game against Philadelphia, he casually went for 54 fpts. Not much has changed for the 76ers. The ONLY drawback you may have will be his inability to make free throws (limits his minutes in close games), and his likelihood to pick up silly fouls. It has been over a month since Drummond has had a terrible game, and I wouldn’t bet that tonight will be a let down. Lock him in.
Marcin Gortat ($6,800) – Gortat has really elevated his level of play in 2016. He looks comfortable and healthy above all else. He is hitting value consistently, resulting in a rise in value over the past few games. He is a wonderful option if you want to go against the grain at the Center position.
