Daily Fantasy Basketball Playbook – 3/12

John Wall

Tonight we have a lighter night of hoops to look forward to in daily fantasy basketball. I’ll make this short and sweet, so good luck tonight! As always, my prices are according to DraftKings.

Point Guard

Alexey Shved ($5,000) – Dude has been a monster lately, and I don’t mean just his last game where he dropped 52 fantasy points. He’s hit over 20+ fantasy points in six of his last seven games. Now, that’s not quite hitting value if he does that tonight, but playing against the Lakers bodes well for him tonight.

John Wall ($8,300) – Everything you know about Memphis this season can be thrown out the window tonight. I don’t exactly know what the rotation will be tonight in Memphis, but I do know that I’m squeezing in Wall everywhere I can. He’s hit 40+ fantasy points in three of his last four games. I’ll take that against any team, much less and team’s backup squad

Shooting Guard

James Harden ($10,800) – Obligatory beard pick. Just put him on your roster.

Danny Green ($$5,000) – Green is a little unpredictable, but with Manu Ginobili out tonight, then that means more minutes for Green. He’s hit value his last seven games, and I expect that to continue tonight.

Shooting Forward

Jeff Green ($5,000) – I’m taking a flyer on Green because I honestly have no idea who else the Grizz are going to get to score tonight. I know that have talent on their bench, but Green will be getting the green light (get it?) to let it fly tonight.

LeBron James ($10,600) – I know people will be fading James in favor of Kawhi tonight, but I think that James is going to have a monster game tonight. LeBron had a terrible outing against the Spurs last time this season and still managed to almost put up 40 fantasy points. I know he’s pricy, but I see I’d try to fit him on my team if I could.

Power Forward

Terrence Jones ($6,900) – Outside of Kevin Love and Derrick Favors, I absolutely loathe this position tonight. I don’t know who else really to take besides those two and Jones. Jones has put up some nice numbers with Dwight out, but it all depends on if he can stay out of foul trouble.

Rudy Gobert ($7,800) – Rudy! Rudy! Rudy! Utah is 8-2 since the all-star break, and that is mostly thanks to Gobert. Three of his last five games have been for over 40 fantasy points, and he’s got the length to do some serious damage against the Rockets tonight. I know he’s pricey, but he’s honestly the player I am most confident in tonight.
