Fantasy Premier League: Week 26 Rankings

After a break for FA cup weekend the premier league is back this week, and with it comes the return of some big names to the week 26 rankings from both AFCON and from injuries. Yaya Toure, Wilfried Bony and Cesc Fabregas are the headline names who should return to fantasy prominence this week, but for one of those players, fantasy owners will be watching with extra tension. With Bony being away in Africa the big question that has been bubbling is just how will Manchester City use him in the Premier League? Many believe he and Aguero should play together but contradictory opinions suggest he was signed more for his power and strength in the Champions League than for help in the Premier League. It is unlikely we will see a complete answer this week because Bony has only trained with his new team for a week at most so chances are he won’t have settled in to the system Man City play. That means we could see him start on the bench this week with Aguero up top alone. However, Aguero has been struggling this week in training with an injury so the Man City striking position is a little bit up in the air right now.

Also I cannot believe that this feels like a subplot this week but COSTA IS BACK!

I have decided to switch back a traditional rankings system this week after a few tweets from readers who had dilemma’s within in a tier and said the article needed to help them solve these problems rather than worry about whether Kane is elite or not because if you own him he is playing.
