Daily Fantasy Basketball Playbook – 11/26

Marc Gasol

Happy Thanksgiving Eve everyone. Make sure your dinner isn’t the only feast that’s going to happen, check out some players that should have some nice games tonight. All of my prices are according to FanDuel. Good luck!

Damian Lillard ($8,500)

Lillard has led the Blazers charge on the way to an impressive 11-3 record early on in the season. Tonight he faces off against a Hornets team that haven’t exactly handled quality PGs well. With Lillard averaging 19.9 PPG 5.4 RPG 6.5 APG and 1.3 SPG then it’s a safe assumption he’ll post a stat line similar to this tonight. He has also scored 20+ points and 7+ assists in the last 5 games so go ahead and plug him into your line up without any worries.

Brandon Knight ($7,400)

Don’t look now, but Brandon Knight is becoming quite the fantasy player. With a stat line of 18.2 PPG 5.1 RPG 6.5 APG and 1.3 SPG it’s only a matter of time before his daily value goes up, this isn’t including his impressive FG% and 3PT% either. Knight gets a banged up Timberwolves team tonight and will look to continue his early season performance.

Dirk Nowitzki ($7,100)

Having Nowitzki healthy is a beautiful thing. He’s been one of the top fantasy players so far this season and, I personally still believe he’ll improve on those numbers. Even though 19.0 PPG and 5.5 RPG is usually pretty good, those numbers don’t fall in line with his career averages. Even if you want to put blame on old age and injuries, he should still be able to average his current numbers as a nice floor fantasy value. His efficient shooting will be there on a nightly basis and he’ll start having more scoring outbursts pretty soon. Tonight could be that night. Going against a Knicks squad with a less than impressive front court, this should be a big night for the ole Dirk.

Tobias Harris ($7,200)

Harris likes to score, Harris isn’t on that good of a team and Harris is going against the Golden State Warriors tonight. Yep, plenty of points will be scored tonight. Averaging 18.8 PPG and 8.4 RPG makes him a safe player going against a Warriors team that will shoot the lights out of Orlando tonight. Harris does have a calf injury and is listed as a game time decision, so closely monitor before submitting your line ups. If he plays, even with the calf, start him. As an alternative, I would roll with the rookie Jabari Parker tonight. Much cheaper price and he’s starting to post nice numbers over the past few games.

Marc Gasol ($8,500)

One of the best fantasy Centers so far this season, Gasol gets the less than formidable Lakers front court tonight. The do it all Gasol, 19.9 PPG 8.1 RPG 3.1 APG 1.2 SPG 1.5 BPG .500 FG% .830 FT%, has another nice match up tonight after tearing up the other team from L.A. Let the price speak for itself, you want Gasol in your line up tonight.
