Charlie Austin, QPR – FWD

In a match that saw Loic Remy withdrawn from the teamsheet in anticipation of  move to Chelsea, the Rangers got all they needed from Austin to pick up the 1-0 victory over Sunderland. Last time QPR were in the PL during the 2012/13 season, they didn’t get their first win until December. Austin, into the starting XI for the departing Remy, netted the match-winner in first half extra time when he finished from close range after a QPR corner. Austin led the club in goals last season with 20 and should see increased time with the Remy departure. Source: bbc.com
