Olivier Giroud, Arsenal – FWD

Handing the Arsenal squad a blow, Giroud could miss three months with a broken foot. The first scan was inconclusive so the forward will undergo another when the inflammation subsides to better gauge the seriousness of the injury. Currently Giroud is set to miss at least two weeks, which may increase to the full three months if a fracture is found. The injury could force Arsenal back into the transfer market, with QPR’s Loic Remy rumored to be a potential target. Lukas Podolski who seemed to be on his way out may be set to stay put.
