Ross Barkley, Everton – MID

Everton has been dealt a major blow as Barkley suffered a medial knee ligament injury and may be forced to miss between six and eight weeks of action. The injury occurred on Friday during a training session in preparation for Saturday’s Premiership opening match against Leicester City. Barkley exited wearing a protective knee brace. The midfielder will undergo further scans and testing on Saturday to review the full extent of the injury.  Source: theguardian.com
