QPR has confirmed the signing of Mutch from Cardiff City for a fee reported to be for four years at £6m. The 22 year-old midfielder makes a return to the Premier League following Cardiff City’s demotion last season. Mutch contributed seven goals and five assits in the 2013-14 season at Cardiff, good for being directly involved in 37.5% of the clubs goals. Club manager Harry Redknapp said of the newly acquired player, “Mutch is a fine young player, with a big future. This is a big opportunity for him at QPR.
