Earlier in the week, The Red Devils overcame an aggregate deficit to Greek powerhouse Olympiakos behind a hat-trick by Robin van Perise to advance to the Champions League quarter-finals. Not to be outdone, Rooney picked up the slack with van Persie out with a knee injury and added two goals of his own on Saturday, including a strong contender for goal of the season when he found the net from 40+ yards out. An absolute must-see goal.
