As club manager Tim Sherwood had initially suggested after their 1-0 defeat of Cardiff City last week, Walker is set to miss the International friendly between England and Denmark on Wednesday due to his on-going groin injury. Sherwood added, “We’re just hoping to nurse him back to fitness for next week, so we’ll see how that goes.” It appears that Walker may be a match time decision come Saturday at Chelsea.
