Here we go Hoop Heads, another week into the NBA season! We finally see trades between teams that have major fantasy implications on the rest of the fantasy season. Tonight, we have eight games to pick and choose from in daily play. We here at FakeRoundball have been playing daily games over on DraftKings.com, so if you would like to get in on the action, give us a follow on twitter (@RSandersFR @SaidHeHadAStory @pastfever24 and @FakeRoundball) so we can send you the contest link. Here are my plays for tonight, allons-y!
Joakim Noah vs Bucks – Noah had two double-doubles in a row before laying a turd on the court against the Pistons on Saturday. Luckily for him, the Bucks will be without Zaza Pachulia tonight. He should be set for another solid outing against a terrible rebounding team with a depleted front court.
Fantasy just got a whole lot better thanks to Monkey Knife Fight. With fast-paced games like Rapid Fire and Either/Or, it’s never been easier to play fantasy and win. New to MKF? Get Exclusive $100 Deposit Match + Free $5 Game
Tim Duncan vs Raptors – Call me crazy, but Timmy D has looked like the TD of a decade ago these last few games. In his last five, he is averaging over sixteen points and ten rebounds. Even with the Raptors getting better in their recent trade, Mr. Fundamental looks to continue his hot streak coming off two days rest.
Kobe Bryant vs Suns – I am one that believes that Kobe will be back to his Black Mamba form soon, but not quite yet. He still has some rust to shake off and his minutes are very limited to get his feet wet. I am going to wait and error on the side of caution before I go full swing and begin playing him on my daily team.
Joe Johnson vs Celtics – Has there been a bigger let down this season than this team? Between the injuries, terrible play of vets, and bad coaching, the Nets seem to be crashing and burning. Johnson has been their best player in the backcourt but he gets a bad matchup against Avery Bradley tonight. Add that to him averaging career lows in over a decade, Johnson will be a tough start when you can find much better value elsewhere.
Paul Millsap vs OKC – Millsap has been great as of latel, and by great I actually mean outstanding. He has had three double-doubles in his last four game; the one game he missed the double-double he had nine rebounds. The only problem with tonight is that he plays against long defenders in the Thunder that may slow him down. His value on DraftKings is $8400, so with guys like Horford and Drummond costing less, the uncertainty is too high for that steep of a price.
