Hickey: I do have them very close actually in terms of the final roto 'points total' I give them. Betts has a average advantage over the other two and can contribute steals. Joc offers 20/20 at a lower average and Soler offers 30+ homer potential and there is an RBI boost that comes with his extra power.

Chris: Thanks for the advice. I produce my rankings off projections that I put together from a composite of a couple of different places and they both seem to be low on Cespedes. In the future I may open up what sites I use but I have always felt Cespedes is overvalued and have him as a bust in the article coming out Monday. It may be that I have gone too low now. They are roto rankings I have done here as there has been no weighting on doubles and triples etc here.

Ben, interesting ranks here. I assume this is H2H league rankings because in Roto your rankings seem off.

For example, in H2H leagues guys like Cespedes who are inconsistent week by week, I could see ranking outside the top 30 outfielders. In roto he has been a top 20 outfielder for the last three years and in his prime. His underlining stats show he might actually improve in 2015, and with Detroit being a top 20 outfielder is highly likely (for roto.) Even if he only plays 140 games, he is still a high floor guy.

There are many more examples. I think if you look at some sabermetric data, it will help you with your rankings.

Seems wrong to group Mookie, Joc and Soler together simply because of age. Do you really have their end year projections that close?
