No one comes close to Peyton Manning for the spot atop our QB rankings for Week Six. Peyton plays a bad New York Jets’ secondary in a town that’s second-guessing their coach’s every move. Peyton threw for four touchdowns and nearly five hundred yards last week; would you be surprised if he got close again this week? None of the other elite quarterbacks have a matchup nearly as good, and Peyton Manning is in a class of his own in Week Six.
Full steam ahead on the Eli Manning train to unexpected fantasy goodness. We told you to pick Eli up two weeks ago, and last week we warned that it was too late to pick him up in most 2QB and Superflex leagues. Well, the matchups continue to be sweet, and we love Eli Manning against a bad Philadelphia secondary this week.

Joe Flacco had been putting together a sneaky good season before last week, and there is reason to think he nears top-ten numbers this week against a Tampa Bay defense that gives up three hundred passing yards and multiple touchdowns nearly every time the team takes the field. In a week with Drew Brees on bye and several top quarterbacks facing difficult matchups, we have no question Joe Flacco could be a viable QB2 or Superflex starter.
Situations to monitor: Keep an eye on Jake Locker‘s thumb, because there is some chance he rests this week. If Locker is out, Charlie Whitehurst is the likely starter in Tennessee, although rumors are swirling that the Titans are close to giving the nod to rookie Zach Mettenberger. It’s also worth noting that Derek Carr, Carson Palmer, and Teddy Bridgewater are on injury reports, so don’t start them unless you check the injury report closely this week.
