Ross Stripling (LAD vs. SFG)

Moneyline: -220

Over/Under: 8

FanDuel: $9,100/DraftKings: $9,800

Stripling is all the rage right now, and his numbers justify is price. In a Dodgers’ rotation that has been anything but stable, he’s been a bright spot since the beginning of May. With five straight wins, and four quality starts, Stripling’s also averaging about eight strikeouts during this span. The Giants’ record is almost at .500, and are trying to hang in there in the NL West race, but this weekend won’t be easy. As a team this season, the Giants have a K-rate of 24.1%. In the past two seasons, it’s been under 20%. Their swinging strike rate is at 11.2%  (6th highest in MLB). Stripling’s K/9 is currently at 10.9, and it’s not unfathomable to expect a K per inning tonight against the Giants. While he’s probably the chalk, you may not want to fade him.

Tyler Skaggs (LAA @ OAK)

Moneyline: -125

Over/Under: 8 1/2

FanDuel: $8,900/DraftKings: $9,300

Skaggs is another pitcher that’s showing up on people’s radar. His game log isn’t as clean as Stripling’s, but he can give you a K per inning, keep home runs at a minimum, and pitch into the fifth inning for the win. So far, Skaggs is showing improvement since last season, with better numbers in K/9, HR/9, and ERA. He’s leaving almost 10% more of runners on base, and he’s also getting about 5% more ground balls. Skaggs brings all of this to Oakland, against an A’s team on a three-game losing streak. The A’s have shown power this season, but have grounded into 49 double plays, and have an OBP of just .309.

Jonathan Loaisiga (NYY vs. TBR)

Moneyline: -215

Over/Under: 9

FanDuel: $5,600/DraftKings: $6,400

The moneyline for the Yankees rose from -180 to -215 overnight. Loaisiga is making his MLB debut after getting the call from Double-A ball. Through 10 starts in the minors, he pitched 45 innings, with just four walks, four home runs allowed, 58 strikeouts, and a 3.00 ERA. Pitching in Yankee Stadium isn’t easy, but he’ll have the home crowd behind him while he makes his start against the Rays, who aren’t a strong team, offensively. This is a good spot for Loaisiga to make his debut. For his price, and the Yankees’ offense hitting against Nathan Eovaldi, it definitely wouldn’t hurt to have exposure to Loaisiga tonight. Other pitchers to target:

James Paxton (SEA vs. BOS) FanDuel: $10,000/DraftKings: $10,700

Zack Godley (ARI vs. NYM) FanDuel: $7,200/DraftKings: $8,100

Kevin Gausman (BAL vs. MIA) FanDuel: $7,600/DraftKings: $8,500
