NBA DFS: Targets for 10/25

It should be a fun NBA DFS night, with 10 games on the slate! There are a few games projected to have point-totals of over 220, and will make for a fun night for fans and fantasy.

We also have a DFS account on Twitter, so be sure to give it a follow!

The targets:

Ricky Rubio (UTA @ PHO)

FanDuel: $7,600 (PG)

DraftKings: $6,800 (PG)

The Suns are going through rough times right now with the firing of their coach and looking to trade Eric Bledsoe. Bledsoe didn’t play on Monday, and the Suns will probably go forward with without him. Their opponents can take advantage of that. The Jazz will be on the court with a fast-paced team, which should help boost Rubio’s production. He’s been pretty underwhelming, with the exception of the game against his former team (Timberwolves). Rubio may go overlooked tonight, but there should be some exposure in GPP lineups.

Spencer Dinwiddie (BKN vs. CLE)

FanDuel: $4,400 (PG)

DraftKings: $4,200 (PG/SG)

D’Angelo Russell has been downgraded to doubtful, so we need to keep an eye on that. With it being so early in the season, it doesn’t seem as though the Nets would need to push for Russell to play. Look to Dinwiddie to take on Russell’s minutes. The Nets are leading the NBA in points per game, with 123.5. They’ve been without Jeremy Lin, and possibly without Russell tonight, but I think they’ll still score a good amount of points. The usage and minutes should be there for Dinwiddie, and should payoff his price.

Klay Thompson (GSW vs. TOR)

FanDuel: $7,100 (SG)

DraftKings: $6,600 (SG)

Thompson and the Warriors are back in the Bay after a three-game road trip. The Raptors will be without Lucas Nogueira and Jonas Valanciunas, while DeMar DeRozan had been dealing with a thigh issue, but should play. This is the highest scoring game of the night, and should now be a more paced-up one too. The Raptors have been good defensively, but they will probably sacrifice defense for more offensive opportunities, and that is why I like Thompson tonight.

Paul George (OKC vs. IND)

FanDuel: $8,700 (SF)

DraftKings: $8,000 (SF)

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a sucker for revenge games. George and the Thunder are hosting the Pacers tonight). The Thunder certainly have a different look and feel with the addition of George and Carmelo Anthony. Although George has been making decent value, we should see a surge tonight. Something interesting of note: the Thunder are leading the NBA in steals per game, with 12.3. George has nine steals in his last two games. If he can keep this up in tonight’s game, it’ll really help his fantasy-point total, which can lead to more scoring opportunities for him and the rest of the team.

Otto Porter (WAS @ LAL)

FanDuel: $7,500 (SF)

DraftKings: $5,900 (SF/PF)

The Wizards are on the road tonight and are facing the Lakers. Both teams are in the top 10 in the NBA in points scored per game and pace. This should be a popular one, and with Porter’s price on DK, he’s my favorite play in this game. He had exceeded his value in the last two games against the Nuggets and Pistons, and tonight can certainly be more of the same. The Lakers turnover the ball the fourth mosts in the NBA. Couple that with what should be fast-paced game, and there should be lots of fantasy points to go around.

Targets to also take into consideration:

Mike James (PHO vs. UTA)

FanDuel: $4,300 (PG)

DraftKings: $4,400 (PG)

Victor Oladipo (IND vs. OKC)

FanDuel: $7,800 (SG)

DraftKings: $7,200 (PG/SG)

Norman Powell (TOR @ GSW)

FanDuel: $4,500 (SG)

DraftKings: $4,600 (SG/SF)

Draymond Green (GSW vs. TOR)

FanDuel: $7,800 (PF)

DraftKings: $7,200 (PF/C)

Karl-Anthony Towns (MIN @ DET)

FanDuel: $10,100 (C)

DraftKings: $8,600 (C)
