Targets Per Snap Weeks 5 to 1 2017

Targets Per Snap Weeks 5 to 1 2017 analysis starts with a landscape view of each team’s total number of players targeted by the week.

How concentrated are each team’s targets?

Interestingly, in the following table, the least concentrated targeting team was PIT and the most targeting team was NYG. I used this data to look for adding players or in trades.

The teams at the top of the table are distributing their target to fewer players. Finding a 2 or 3 deep player there may be more valuable than commonly thought!

The Bottom Boys are IND, DEN, BUF, WAS, BAL, and HOU

Combining Concentration and Target per Snaps give you an insightful view of each teams targeting plans each week.

Players from the Bottom Team had better be efficient and score more.

The top teams are NYG, MIN, GB, OAK, and NE! Be thoughtful for bye week replacements. Its a tough year for TEs so far! This data can help you out!

Wide Receivers

The best teams for WRs by targets per snap are ATL, PIT, TB, LAR and MIA! NYG with the injuries implies Shepard has high expectations and Lewis there as well. One of the new faces can also have an impact! Be awake!

Interesting names at the bottom. WAS jumps out to me as a bottom team as its two WRs highly drafted have done little! Watch for changes after the Bye!
