DRAFT Week 4 Preview

Green

The DRAFT week 4 preview is here! Basically in light of our recent partnership with this awesome DFS site I’ll be writing a weekly preview each week highlighting my favorite plays at each position. Now since DRAFT uses a snake draft format without any salary considerations, I’m really just giving you rankings adjusted for the site’s scoring system.

playdraft

Your starting lineup on DRAFT is QB, RB, RB, WR/TE, WR/TE with varying league sizes. Aside from H2H matchups, 3 and 6 person drafts seem to be the most common so with regard to my rankings I’ll be giving you guys 6 QBs, 12 RBs, 12 WRs and 6 TEs each week.

That said, I’m certainly not married to this format so if you have any suggestions on how to make it better don’t hesitate to let me know in the comments or on twitter (@D_bro1389).

Off we go!

QB

1. Tom Brady

  • So many weapons, so many different ways to score.

2. Drew Brees

  • Gets Snead back and the Miami secondary offers zero resistance.

3. Russell Wilson

  • Finally looked like his old self last week.

4. Matt Ryan

  • Buffalo’s strong run D will force Atlanta to throw often.

5. Philip Rivers

  • He doesn’t look great, but the volume is still there.

6. Dak Prescott

  • Good match-up and using his legs once again.

RB

1. Ezekiel Elliott

  • Increased involvement in the pass game adds value.

2. Kareem Hunt

  • Apparently he’s good for a long TD every week.

3. Todd Gurley

  • 3 down back and Goff is moving the ball.

4. LeSean McCoy

  • We know the Bills won’t get pass happy.

5. Le’Veon Bell

  • Tough spot, but he should get 25 touches.

6. Devonta Freeman

  • Same story every week.

7. Leonard Fournette

  • The plan is clearly to limit Bortles’ pass attempts whenever possible.

8. Dalvin Cook

  • Keenum looking competent is HUGE.

9. Jay Ajayi

  • Let’s hope last week was a fluke.

10. Melvin Gordon

  • Eagles front 7 is legit, but he’s catching passes now too.

11. C.J. Anderson

  • Unsurprisingly, he’s a much better play at home.

12. Carlos Hyde

  • 49ers should be able to keep this one close.

WR

1. Antonio Brown

  • Matchup proof and even more importantly, road Ben proof.

2. A.J. Green

  • Eiffert and Ross both out again, give him ALL the targets.

3. Odell Beckham Jr.

  • Looks to be fully back.

4. Michael Thomas

  • Did I mention the Dolphins STINK?

5. Julio Jones

  • Sure would help if he wasn’t allergic to touchdowns.

6. Keenan Allen

  • Rivers is going to have to get it out quick in this one.

7. Dez Bryant

  • Scored each of the last 2 weeks despite facing Talib and Peterson.

8. Mike Evans

  • Janoris Jenkins is a problem, but Winston will likely keep forcing it to him.

9. Brandin Cooks

  • Should see more targets after scoring twice last week.

10. DeVante Parker

  • 17 targets in the first 2 games and it’s all downfield.

11. Demaryius Thomas

  • You have to love the narrow passing tree.

12. DeAndre Hopkins

  • Watson actually looks like a QB.

TE

1. Rob Gronkowski

  • They should rename the red zone the Gronk zone.

2. Zach Ertz

  • 28 targets in 3 games so far.

3. Travis Kelce

  • I don’t think we’re seeing another 1 yard game from him.

4. Jimmy Graham

  • Could see a big bump in targets if Baldwin is out or limited.

5. Delanie Walker

  • At least 4 catches in every game so far.

6. Charles Clay

  • Taylor clearly prefers him to any of his wide receivers.
