Sunday Night Risk Rewards

My Risk and Reward Analysis will include:

  • Game Script

  • Defense against the Position (DAP) Data

  • Non-PPR and PPR Rankings (100 to 0) Green to Red

  • My Risk Assessments for each Player (High, Mid, and Low Risk)

I have constructed these data charts to maximize your visual view of the entire game landscape. Use thoughtfully. My philosophy is less is more. I may hit the highlights but will not give you the same old tired pundit driven opinions.

I like to see the overall points to be scored, then into the positional DAPs and finally to risk and ranks. I let the bargains come to me in DFS. Do not force yourself to play heavily this early.

Analysis DAL vs NYG

The game total points is predicted to be near 48 points. It’s a nice game in terms of fantasy point production.  Last three games have had game totals of 53, 47 and 39 points.

The DAP data, however, does show the NYG going into an average type of game for them (DAP-0.6) while the DAL team is facing a tougher than average defense (-1.3 DAP).  I rate the NYG Defense at 63.4 and the DAL Defense at 25.7. It’s the NYG offense’s game to lose. It should be a slug fest!

NYG Offense Ranks and Risk Sunday Night Risk Rewards

NYG

NYG Offense

When NYG has the ball, Manning has a +0.3 DAP environment and will produce an average game.

NYG WRs. Note if OBJ does not play, it will place a higher level of stress for the NYG passing game. Brandon Marshall would be the show for the NYG WRs then but he is facing -1.1 DAP.

NYG RBs (Perkins) will be hard pressed to gain yardage because of a strong -3.2 DAP condition. Vereen should be used as a pass catcher out of the backfield to balance this situation out.

NYG TEs. Evan Engram the TE has a nice opportunity to break-out as the TEs are against a +2.9. He is a rookie so he may not be able to take full advantage. He is a big target with nice wide receiver skills though.

DAL Offense

DAL QB. Dak will be hard pressed in this game as he is against a -3.3 DAP. He will need to hit his check-downs and maintain his mobility in and out of the pocket.

DAL RB.  Zeke will be the fulcrum for this team as expected. He has a tough go at -3.2 DAP conditions. I rate him high and his game determines this game!

DAL WR. This game setups for a Beasley game given the pressure. Expect a nice collection of short catches for him. All DAL WRs are facing a -2 DAP.  Dez should get some action but that will be based on the run game’s progress. I would think Dez delivers later in the game.

DAL TE. Witten could be the passing star as the TEs are facing an average to slightly above average DAP at +0.5. Witten will remind those who did not draft him why they should have. I rate him at 83! nice! DFS play for sure!

The last team to have the ball may be the winner!
