Marco Estrada (TOR vs. TB)

Moneyline: -118

Over/Under: 9 1/2

FanDuel: $7,600/DraftKings: $7,400

Estrada has pitched well in his last three starts after going through some struggles. He’s pitched seven innings in each of these three starts, while striking out at least five batters. The Rays come into this game with a four-game losing streak. In their last 10 games, they’ve been shutout five times and haven’t scored more than four runs. The Rays are still striking out the second most in MLB, with a 25.5% K-rate. Estrada still holds about a strikeout per inning, and if he can limit hits against him like he has in his last three starts, we should see another strong one from him tonight.

Jacob deGrom (NYM @ NYY)

Moneyline: +132

Over/Under: 8

FanDuel: $10,600/DraftKings: $12,600

One of the most expensive pitchers on the board, deGrom’s pitching at Yankee Stadium for the Subway Series. Because of his price and the Mets’ lack of offense, deGrom is a GPP option. For what you’re paying, it’s tough to roster a pitcher who may not get the win. Piling on the strikeouts is on deGrom’s side, as he’s striking out well over a batter per inning. The Yankees’ offense has been spotty this month, but there’s certainly a chance for their starter, Sonny Gray, to have one bad inning to allow deGrom and the Mets to take this one.

Dinelson Lamet (SD vs. PHI)

Moneyline: -155

Over/Under: 8

FanDuel: $8,300/DraftKings: $8,500

If you look at his game log, Lamet has some pretty good starts against better than average teams. Rostering a Padres’ pitcher isn’t easy, but tonight, the matchup is right. Lamet will be facing the Phillies at home. Making the start for the Phillies is Mark Leiter, who is making this start out of the bullpen. What’s impressive about Lamet is his 11.20 K/9. Even if he doesn’t pitch deep into a game, he’s still capable of getting points through strikeouts. Lamet’s limited batters in his last three starts, by allowing a total of just six hits in that span. The Phillies have the fourth worst OBP in MLB, so Lamet can surely limit them and help you to afford pricier bats.

Other pitchers to consider:

Danny Salazar (CLE @ MIN) FanDuel: $9,500/DraftKings: $12,200

Madison Bumgarner (SF @ MIA) FanDuel: $10,300/DraftKings: $12,700

Dan Straily (MIA vs. SF) FanDuel: $7,300/DraftKings: $6,500

Sonny Gray (NYY vs. NYM) FanDuel: $8,800/DraftKings: $10,700

Thank you for reading, and good luck with your picks!
