5 Under Par – Daily Fantasy Golf – BMW Championship

The excitement has been around Tiger Woods return this week, but we still have some great golf to be played at the BMW Championship. Even with the season winding down there will still be some great daily fantasy golf action at Draftkings this week. Hop into a game and try your “skill” at 100k this week.

The BMW Championship is played at the Conway Farms Golf Course in Lake Forest, Illinois. The course plays at a Par 71 and is 7,497 yards. Last years winner Jason Day, hasn’t been performing like he would like and will try to remedy that this weekend. To make the 5 Under picks this week I used the following metrics: Strokes Gained: Tee to Green, Strokes Gained: Putting, Greens in Regulation, Driving Distance, Par 4 Average and Scrambling.

They are predicting inclement weather on Thursday and Friday which means pay attention to delays and tee times. However,  Saturday and Sunday look good to go for golf. This article and my picks are being brought to you by Tour Golf Revolution, the site that let’s you “Reinvent League Golf.”

1. Dustin Johnson – DJ can crush this course and has won here before. This has been his year and he should work to improve his T7 last year.

2. Rory McIlroy – Rory pulled down the victory last week and has won here before in 2012. He was T4 last week and is unbeatable when he is on top of his game.

3. Patrick Reed - Patty could definitely work his way into contention for the Cup after a first round win. He was T28th here last year and hasn’t missed a cut yet.

4. Jason Day – I can’t leave last years winner off of the list, however he just doesn’t seem to be playing to consistent. He is a bomber playing a bombers course.

5. Jordan Spieth – He has never produced less than an 18th at the BMW. It always seems when Rory gets hot he gets hot, I look for more of the same this week.

Other Notables*

Par – Paul Casey

Bogey – Phil Mickelson

Double Bogey – Sergio Garcia

* I usually use the last 5 years of course/tournament data in my research
