One Loose Lug Nut – Daily Fantasy NASCAR – Pennsylvania 400
We are back to Pennsylvania and the Pocono 400 this week. The first Pocono race this year was a crash fest an a lot of people are expecting the same this week. This race could be rain shortened/delayed depending on how weather plays out. The Tricky Triangle should give us a great race this week. This week I will provide 5 top end daily fantasy NASCAR plays and 5 value plays. One Loose Lug Nut is presented by UTV Family. Check them out at utvfamily.com or on twitter @utvfamily they are giving away a 2016 Polaris Rzr Turbo. For every $5 spent at their website you’ll get entered into the raffle to win!
Draftkings has a $115K NASCAR Slingshot contest this week. Click Here and make your picks. First Place wins $10K and bragging rights for a year.
Daily Fantasy NASCAR Picks
Top End Picks
1. Kevin Harvick
No Rodney Childers this week, but no worries. Happy has the best car on the track and starts in the 17th spot. He should score dominator and place differential points as he works his way to the front this week.
2. Martin Truex Jr.
Truex won the pole and has been great at Pocono with Furniture Row. He should lead laps and score fastest lap points. I don’t think he will win the race, but I do see him scoring 50+ fantasy points.
3. Jimmie Johnson
Johnson rolls off in the 21st spot and should find his way up to the front by the end of the race. I don’t think he will pull down a lot of dominator points, but with Chad Knaus help I feel like he can win the race and put up place differential points.
4. Kyle Busch
Rowdy will roll off 16th, but can definitely win this race. He will provide you place differential point and dominator points on a day when you can use all the extra points you can use.
5. Kurt Busch
Kurt won the spring race here and would love to pull of the sweep. He starts 15th, right in front of his brother this week and should work his way up to a top 5. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some outlandish pit strategy to get him to the front.
1. Ryan Blaney
Blaney has been very fast in practice, even registering a top 4. He will start in the 18th spot, but I could see the rookie working his way into the top 10 this week.
2. Greg Biffle
The Biffle rolls of in the 25th spot, but could find himself in the top 20. Biffle is usually very safe and consistent which means he makes for a great place differential play.
3. Trevor Bayne
Just like his teammate, Bayne’s appeal is based on his place differential potential. He starts in the 31st spot and could easily pull down 10 place differential points this weekend.
4. Danica Patrick
Danica won’t be winning the race this weekend, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be good for you daily fantasy NASCAR lineup. She will roll off in the 26th spot (right behind Biffle) and could easily crack the top 20 for a nice return.
5. David Ragan
Digging deep in the bag of punts leads you to David Ragan. Ragan has put up nice fantasy numbers over the last 4 weeks. He starts 33rd today and should be able to find the +5 to +10 place differential numbers.
