5 Under Par – Daily Fantasy Golf – RBC Canadian

Jason Day PGA

We got close to picking a winner last week at The Open Championship. Phil about pulled down the win, but was outlasted and overtaken by Henrik Stenson. DraftKing’s doesn’t have a Milly Maker this week, but there are a lot of contests available for the RBC Canadian Championship this week, $3 entry can win you a nice check if you take first place. Make sure that you check the tournaments out in their lobby and get in some daily fantasy golf today.

Dustin Johnson and Jason Day will both tee it up this week, which means the big boys are in play. The RBC Canadian is played at Glen Abbey Golf Course in Ontario, Canada this week. Glen Abbey is a Par 72 and measures at about 7,235 yards. It has been a bombers course, but seems to be more about putting than anything else. Last years winner Jason Day, put together a great all around tournament to take it down.  To make the 5 Under picks this week I used the following metrics: Strokes Gained: Tee to Green, Strokes Gained: Putting, Greens in Regulation, Driving Accuracy, Birdie Average and Scrambling.

The weather is looking shaky this weekend, so you may want to target golfers that can play in bad weather. This article and my picks are being brought to you by Tour Golf Revolution, the site that let’s you “Reinvent League Golf.”

1. Dustin Johnson – I told you last week, he won’t move unless he proves me wrong. He had a 9th place performance at The Open last week. He was cut here during his last time out, but this is a new Dustin Johnson and one we can count on.

2. Jason Day – You can call it chalky all you want, but Day was last years winner. He put up a 22nd performance at The Open Championship and will be looking to defend this week. He will use this week to get back into the groove for the upcoming PGA Championship.

3. Jim Furyk - Furyk has won here in the 2006 and 2007, but really just dominates the RBC all around. He has posted 3 top 10s over the last 3 years and should do the same again this year. I love his consistency and his confidence in playing up North.

4. Matt Kuchar – Kuch is a lot like Furyk in his ability to be extremely consistent. He has also found the top 10 in his last 3 RBC Canadian’s and could definitely be looking for a win this week.

5. Brandt Snedeker – Sneds has also won at this course in 2013. He has had a good season so far and seems to have found his putting form. I think he makes for a great play this week.

Other Notables*
