Dynasty Rookie Draft Values
With Super Bowl 50 over and done with, the season is in the books. Now it’s time to get into focusing on dynasty rookie drafts. Dynasty League Football is running mock drafts and compiling data to see where these players are coming off the board, which can be seen here. Four players stood out to me as players who are great values where they are currently coming off of the board.
Jonathan Williams | RB | Arkansas
(Current ADP 26.3)
Jonathan Williams is a player that was all but forgotten about at the University of Arkansas. Williams missed his final season due to injury. He had split time with Alex Collins prior to his injury. Collins is currently coming off of the board at the turn between the first and second round. Williams had 1,190 yards and 12 touchdowns in his final season he played at Arkansas. He’s a physical runner with displays power. He will need to show that his foot is fully healed. Assuming his medical checks out, Williams is a name I expect to see rise through the NFL pre-draft process.
Aaron Green | RB | TCU
(Current ADP 34.67)
Aaron Green finished his career at TCU strongly with 1,272 rushing yards averaging 5.2 yards per carry. He also scored 11 touchdowns. At 5’10” and 203 pounds Green runs like a bowling ball. He doesn’t have breathtaking speed but has the short area quickness to succeed. He flashes good vision and the bust to get through the hole. Green is player that could see his stock rise if he ends of up in a good situation.
Paul McRoberts | WR | SE Missouri State
(Current ADP 39)
Paul McRoberts was a player that impressed me during my time Mobile for the Senior Bowl. He has the physical size at almost 6’2” and 202 pounds. He seemed to gain confidence throughout the week and finishing strong with a 4 catch and 46 yard performance. He found the endzone as well. He has the skills to develop at the next level. His routes are not as consistent as you may want but flashes the ability to create separation. McRoberts has the short area quickness that makes NFL scouts take note. The upside for a player currently going in the 4th round of rookie mocks provides a ton of upside.
D.J. Foster | RB | Arizona State
(Current ADP 39.6)
D.J. Foster was the utility knife of sorts during his time at Arizona State. He would line up as running back and wide receiver. He is one of four players in college football history to have 2,000 plus yards rushing and receiving during their career.
At the next level you should expect much of the from Foster. Ideally he is guy who is paired with a more traditional between the tackles runner. He will be a guy that is a PPR league stud and can be a decent flex option in standard leagues. Think Giovani Bernard or Danny Woodhead.
