Fantasy Draft Week 17 Bargain Buys

Whatever the result of your season long leagues last week playing Fantasy Draft Week 17 DFS offers you an opportunity to make you completely forget what happened. This is the last week of the regular season in which you can win big. Yes there will be playoff opportunities but with the field shrunk the scores tighten and the chances of finding a hidden gem deplete.

This week the cheap QB options are poor, the running backs offer some really cheap upside, the receiving talent is perhaps as good of a combination as I have ever had in this article and the tight end options are the same as always, good but only in desperate times.

Matt Ryan, $10,800, NO @ ATL: Ryan has been distinctly average this season but for his final game of the season he gets a late Christmas present in the form of the Saints defence. This game has an double edge to it for the Falcons; not only are the Saints their bitterest rivals but they also derailed the Falcons season when they beat them in the Superdome. Ryan should be able to use Julio Jones to victimise a woeful secondary and put up big points.

Frank Gore, $7,800, TEN @ IND: Gore had a nice game last week scoring twice against the Dolphins. This week he gets the Titans who have given up on the season in a hunt for draft picks. The Colts just need to win this week and given their QB situation I wouldn’t be surprised if they go about it using the ground game. Gore should have a couple of shots at the end zone this week in what could be his last game for the Colts.

CJ. Anderson, $7,400, SD @ DEN: Anderson has once again come on strong in the second half of the season. He exploded back from injury last week with 70 yards and a touchdown and looked the more lively back out the two. He did fumble once but that was a monstrous hit that shouldn’t further deplete his playing time. Anderson should get the opportunity this week to find the end zone even on limited carries.

Jordan Matthews, $9,200, PHI @ NYG: Matthews is coming off two great fantasy weeks and seems to have built the chemistry with Sam Bradford that should hopefully see them be successful together next season if they both survive the offseason in Philly. This week he gets a woeful Giants secondary who have been torn apart by lesser receivers than Matthews who should be able to put up big yards this week.

Stefon Diggs, $9,100, MIN @ GB: Last week feels a bit of an albatross for Diggs because Minnesota got up big quick and then just eased through the game meaning he had an underwhelming week. This week is unlikely to be anywhere close to that with home field advantage in the wildcard round up for grabs. Diggs is Minnesota’s most trusted target so he should see plenty of opportunities this week in a must win game for the Vikings.

DeVante Parker, $8,100, NE @ MIA: Parker has come on strong as the season has stretched on. You can visibly see the chemistry between himself and Tannehill growing as time goes on. This week he gets a slightly depleted Patriots secondary who got pulled apart by Brandon Marshall last week. Parker is a physical beast who the Patriots will struggle to match up too so could have a really nice week in a potential shoot-out down South.

Travis Kelce, $8,700, OAK @ KC: Kelce is someone KC has to get going if they are to make a run in the playoffs and there is no better opportunity than this week. The Oakland defence has been horrific against tight ends this season and KC will be looking to exploit that. Kelce is a really talented player who should have been utilised better this season by KC but this week has a good shot to be the week he goes off ready for a big playoff push.

Zach Ertz, $7,000, PHI @ NYG: It’s ironic isn’t it? Chip Kelly gets fired following the two weeks that his best two pass catchers go off. This offence may actually have finally started clicking and I think Ertz can have a big week against the Giants this week. However, this is only if your desperate as I would much rather go for Jordan Reed, Greg Olsen and Travis Kelce (In that order) before taking Ertz.
