Welcome to Week 16 NFL DFS. The end of the season is in sight and most season long leagues are in the Super Bowl or over at this point but DFS provides an opportunity to keep playing. This week a ton of value can be found across the board on Own The Play. While paying up at some potions make sense and is doable, trying to do so across the board is impossible. The bargains allow optimal lineups to be created. Lets see who should be in consideration this week!

This week at quarterback there are a few options that make sense including Ben Roethlisberger ($8,600) if you want to pay up and Blake Bortles ($7,400) who will be widely owned. Bortles has a terrific match up against the New Orleans Saints who have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Roethlisberger will produce against a Ravens defense that allows the 11th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. If you are looking for options that will be lowered owned with a strong upside two names come to mind.

Teddy Bridgewater Minnesota Vikings $6,200
vs New York Giants

Teddy Bridgewater has an opportunity to produce in a big way this week. He faces a New York Giants defense that has allowed the second most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Adrian Peterson tweaked an ankle in their last game and may be banged up a bit for this game. This should put more work on Bridgewater’s plate. The reemergence of Stefon Diggs a week ago gives more fuel to the Teddy fire also. Stacking the duo would not be something I would avoid this week.

Kirk Cousins Washington Redskins $7,100
at Philadelphia Eagles

I recommended Kirk Cousins a week ago and he rewarded those who used him with a 300 plus yard and 5 touchdown performance. I’m going back to the well again this week with him. He faces an Eagles defense that allows the third most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. He looks to extended his run of 300 yard plus passing games. He has eclipsed the total in 4 of his last 6 games. Cousins presents a great value at his price tag. Roll him out this week.

David Johnson Arizona Cardinals $7,500
vs Green Bay Packers

A week ago we saw the ceiling of David Johnson who exploded for 187 yards rushing and 3 tds. This week sets up as another golden opportunity at home against the Packers. Despite having a higher pricetag Johnson saves $500 on the top priced running back but is my number one back for this week. Johnson should be a monster again this week and well worth his price tag.

Denard Robinson Jacksonville Jaguars $5,000
at New Orleans Saints

Denard Robinson underwhelmed in terms of his work running the ball but was able to produce for those who used him with an 8 catch performance. The Jaguars offense struggled as a whole a week ago seemed to stumble. This week provides a terrific bounce back opportunity. The Saints are allowing the most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Robinson should produce on the ground and via the pass.

Karlos Williams Buffalo Bills $4,800
vs Buffalo Bills

LeSean McCoy tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season which opens up an opportunity for Karlos Williams to provide a ton of value. He faces a Cowboys defense that has allowed the 12th most fantasy points to opposing running backs over the past 5 weeks and 6th most over the past three weeks. This game at home should help Williams and the Bills. A sub $5,000 running back with the upside of WIlliams makes for a very tempting option this week.

Martavis Bryant Pittsburgh Steelers $6,200
at Baltimore Ravens

Martavis Bryant is set up for a monster game in this spot. He is facing a Baltimore Ravens secondary that is allowing the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Antonio Brown is the play at wide receiver but will cost you $8,400 but Bryant for $2,200 may be my favorite play of the week. He can get behind the secondary and put up a huge day. Expect the Steelers to throw enough for both wideouts to be productive. A Roethlisberger, Brown, and Bryant stack is a great way to go this week.

Allen Hurns Jacksonville Jaguars $5,200
at New Orleans Saints

Allen Hurns presents tremendous value this week. While he has struggled a bit since returning from injury he still has tremendous upside and can go off in this prime matchup. You will want to get pieces of the Jacksonville passing game in your lineups this week and Hurns makes the most sense. He will save you $2,000 from Allen Robinson and can produce to the same level. Expect Hurns to bounce back in a big way this week.

Michael Floyd Arizona Cardinals $4,200
vs Green Bay Packers

Michael Floyd has been perpetually undervalued all season long. He has 7 double figure outputs in his last 8 games. He has a tremendous ceiling with a reasonable floor. The Packers haven’t been torched consistently this season by opposing wide receivers but have been had. Expect Carson Palmer to have plenty of opportunities this week and look in Floyd’s direction quite a bit. He is very affordable and could be the reason you cash this week!

Richard Rodgers Green Bay Packers $3,800
at Arizona Cardinals

Richard Rodgers has an opportunity to produce this week in a fantastic matchup. He has a touchdown in 3 of his last 5 games. He will face a Cardinals defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends over the past 5 weeks. The Packers will likely need to throw the ball often this week and I expect Rodgers to be a big part of that look.
